Spring Day for Europe grows to 4000!
4000 schools have already joined Spring Day for Europe 2008. On 5 June, the Agrupamento de Escolas de Mogadouro, from Portugal, was the 4000th school to register. Spring Day for Europe is an annual initiative that in 2008 runs from 25 March until 30 June.

3000 schools registered with Spring Day
3000 schools from European Union Member States and beyond have now registered to take part in Spring Day for Europe 2008. On 21 April 2008, IES Zaframagon, Olvera from Spain became the 3000th school to register with Spring Day for Europe 2008.

Spring Day for Europe 2008 website launched
For the sixth time, European Schoolnet, on behalf of the European Commission, is coordinating the Spring Day for Europe campaign. On 17 March 2008 a new web portal was launched to encourage schools to register and take part in a large series of events. The new format of Spring Day for Europe covers the next five years giving a different focus every school year. The campaign is part of “Plan D” for increased democracy, dialogue and debate.
