Draw a picture to tell us how you imagine meeting another culture!
Tailored to pupils of all ages, “Me in a foreign country” is an activity designed to help young people reflect on either travelling to or living in another country. This activity aims to help raise awareness on cultural differences and how to cope with them.
For this activity, pupils are asked to think of places or people they have met or would like to meet from a different cultural background than their own. They then imagine themselves in such a situation and what they would experience and create drawings, paintings, collages or other pieces of art and accompany them with a short title.
